Free Ticketed Event on June 19 at Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre
Uniondale, NY – May 27, 2026 — The Island FC, in partnership with Nassau County and Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman, will host Soccer In The Park, a free ticketed public viewing event for the FIFA World Cup 26™ match between the United States and Australia on Friday, June 19 at Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre at Eisenhower Park.
The free event will begin at 3:00 PM and is open to fans of all ages as Long Island comes together to celebrate the world’s game in one of Nassau County’s most beloved outdoor gathering spaces. To attend, fans must register for free tickets at TheIslandFC.com or at https://nassaucountytourism.ticketspice.com/fifa-watch-party-2026-nassau-county-tourism.
The event will feature the live match broadcast along with giveaways, family-friendly activities, concessions and more. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for viewing on the theater grounds. Free parking will be available on-site, with Lots 6 and 6A located closest to the venue.

The event marks the first official community activation hosted by The Island FC as the club continues building toward its inaugural professional season and establishing deeper roots across Long Island through soccer, culture, and community engagement.
