The Island F.C. officially unveiled plans to join MLS NEXT Pro, bringing a new era of professional soccer to Long Island beginning in 2027.
The announcement includes plans for a new soccer-specific stadium at Mitchel Athletic Complex in Uniondale, designed to serve as the home for the club’s professional team while supporting the continued growth of soccer across the region.
