The Girls Academy program represents the club’s Tier 1 platform for elite female players seeking the highest level of competition, training, and long-term development on Long Island. Competing within the nation’s premier all-girls youth soccer league, the program is designed to provide a professional-level environment centered around elite coaching, player growth, and a complete pathway to the collegiate and professional game.
The Island FC is also committed to building a strong female-first culture, with the long-term vision of developing an all-female coaching staff that empowers and inspires the next generation of women in soccer.
TIER 2
Aspire
The Island FC Aspire program serves as the Tier 2 platform within the Girls Academy pathway, providing high-level development opportunities for female players across Long Island. Organized as The Island FC West and The Island FC East, the program creates a unified west-to-east development model designed to expand access while maintaining consistent standards and methodology throughout both regions.
This structure allows top players from Nassau and Suffolk Counties to develop within one connected pathway, creating a clear progression into the Girls Academy platform and beyond.
The Island FC girls’ pathway is redefining female player development on Long Island through a unified Girls Academy and ASPIRE structure operating across both Nassau and Suffolk County. Built under one professional club model, the pathway provides female athletes with elite training environments, advanced league platforms, and a clear progression from youth soccer to the college and professional levels.
Through The Island FC’s Female First initiative, players benefit from consistent coaching standards, top-tier competition, and a connected west-to-east development system designed to maximize opportunity for female athletes across the Island.
